NEWS: INTRODUCING FRANKLYN MUSIC THE DOCUMENTARY

Introducing Franklyn Music

If you're fed up with the ordinary and looking for new but timeless music then get ready to meet Franklyn Music. An artist like no other, Franklyn Addo will not only inspire you to appreciate the unusual as he deviates from the norm with his anomalous musical style but he flips the script with an alternative sense of realism. Just what the underground scene needs.  If you're ready to discover a UK artist with a definite difference check out Franklyn's introduction video where he invites us into a world of music, art, cultural influences and plain and simply put; real life. This exclusive documentary directed by Geeboye is supported by an intriguing soundtrack that instantly wets our appetites for quality music, as it samples tracks from the up and coming Mixtape Just Being Frank 2. The documentary is an honest piece and features personal commentary from Franklyn about his distinct portfolio of work. Be sure to watch and find out what his concept of 'Team Anomaly' is about and  whether he reps for #TeamSupermalt or #TeamGingerbeer!

Passionate about his craft, Franklyn's accomplishments speak for themselves, at 18 years of age the musician has already released two mixtapes Just Being Frank and The Remix Tape. Outside of his music abilities Franklyn's journalism work has been published in the Guardian, where he critcally comments on the social issues of the London riots to analysing the hit TV drama Top Boy.  As an influential young artist Franklyn articulates a voice of concern and makes a positive contribution to society affairs evident in his BBC3 contribution to the drug legalisation debate.  As well as writing the news Franklyn's has also made the headlines himself after he decided to turn down a place at Cambridge University. Controversial or what? However we do like some good old (squeaky clean) academic controversy!

With a strong foundation laid for his career Franklyn states his new music proposed for midsummer release is set to be some of his best work yet. Exciting times! If thats not enough to impress, Franklyn has released a series of diverse music videos which always display well thought out and fresh themes to suit every taste including Jasmine, William Wordsworth, Internal Bleeding and Pray for Them.

The Sky's the limit for this positive role model producing a consistent and innovative standard across the arts. We cant wait to see what #TeamAnomaly comes up with next. We're supporting the movement  and until then Jasmine is on repeat!
