J Vessel breaks down how the pleasures of this world isolate us from the things of the Father. Chasing after the things of the world is a wasted life because these things will perish. It's easy to get caught up in the hype of status and possessions for validation but J Vessel emphasizes the importance of putting God first. 1 John 2:16-17 says  For the world offers only a craving for physical pleasure, a craving for everything we see, and pride in our achievements and possessions. These are not from the Father, but are from this world. And this world is fading away, along with everything that people crave. But anyone who does what pleases God will live forever. The scripture shows that chasing after God brings life and when we put him first, everything else shall follow. Today's challenge prompts us to live unselfishly and do something that pleases God. What can you do today with your time, money and energy to do a good, meaningful and purposeful thing for someone else?
