NEWS: PREACHER’S WIVES TO FEATURE ON REALITY TV SHOW ‘THE SISTERHOOD’
Preacher's Wive's have been given a platform other than the pulpit to stand by their hubby's and the church, in this brand new series The Sisterhood. The reality TV show is set to premier on TLC Networks on January 1st and follows the daily lives of five preacher women trying to balance everyday life and church in Atlanta. Viewers will get a behind the scenes look at being a Pastor's wife, living up to the 'first lady' title, and presents some of their honest challenges. and shy's away from a squeaky clean image expected from being a Pastors wife. From the promo alone The Sisterhood has caused some controversy online with some Christians unhappy with it's portrayal of the church as the ladies convey getting tattoos speaking about sex and even discuss past drug abuse. Time will tell if this is just another drama fueled reality show for ratings. But we we pray there's some worthy messages and valuable lessons which can be taken from these ministry led ladies. It's not very often we get to see Preacher's wife portrayed on TV so lets hope some good can come out of their struggles, triumphs and unique experiences.
